Music Ka Maha Muqqabla is a reality show on STAR Plus, which first aired on December 19, 2009.It aims to bring a new format to music reality shows in India, which is based on Teams rather than individuals.The show will last for a total of 13 weeks.6 Teams, led by their own superstar captains, battle it out in this weekly music competition.[3] The singing superstars include Mika Singh, Himesh Reshammiya, Mohit Chauhan, Shreya Ghoshal, Shaan and Shankar Mahadevan.Each Team consists of three well-known singers and one new singer.The show is hosted by Ayushmann Khurrana. Each week two captains compete for the highest score in order to win.
